KINDR Communities

Our KINDR Communities initiative is about helping kindness become visible, practical, teachable, repeatable and ststainable in everyday life for families, workplaces, schools, faith based community service clubs and neighborhoods.

We have programs and resources available to help individuals become Kindness Ambassadors within their own communities. We also provide research based programs for teaching kindness skills to at risk children and youth participating in afterschool programs, such as Boys and Girls Clubs or those sponsored by faith based organizations.

KINDR Schools

We provide schools with the curriculum and grants needed to bring more kindness and emotional support to their kids. Anyone connected to a school can apply to join the KINDR Schools Union, a global network of education professionals, schools, and districts dedicated to fostering a culture of kindness. Teachers can easily download the KINDR Toolkit created by educational psychology expert Dr. Doug Carnine for free, access support from our education coaches, and even apply for money to fund KINDR campaigns and purchase equipment for classroom KINDR Corners.

In just 5 years, KINDR Foundation has reached over 850,000 students and awarded $5,000,000 in grants to 300 schools using Positive Behavior Intervention and Support Models (PBIS) and serving 70%+ BIPOC students, from low-income neighborhoods with multiple risk factors.

KINDR Prisons

INSPIRING ADULTS IN CUSTODY TO BECOME KINDNESS LEADERS

This is a program for adults in custody and their families to become catalysts for kindness. Inner transformation is the key to self-forgiveness, forgiveness of others, and the ability to build future relationships and move forward in life.

Our goal is to establish and promote a culture of positive programming in prisons that enhances recovery and rehabilitation, promotes a safe environment within the prison system, as well as an understanding of kindness behaviors that will benefit an individual when they return to their community and family.

KINDR Foundation has provided free courses to 10,000+ inmates across the California prison system and to prisoners in 14+ states with extremely positive outcomes.

Evidence Advocacy Center

The Evidence Advocacy Center (EAC) is a project of the KINDR Foundation with a unique purpose that builds a kinder and more knowledgeable world through the transformation of education into a research based profession.

The mission of the EAC is to transform the education system to ensure all students, especially the most vulnerable and marginalized populations thrive socially and emotionally and realize satisfying adult lives.
